What does the test include?
The PCR test detects the presence of the Mycoplasma bacteria that causes infection within your urinary and reproductive tracts.
This test is most effective if you get tested 14 days after the initial exposure.
How do I schedule my appointment?

What can I expect at my appointment?
Upon arrival at your chosen clinic, you will be asked to provide a urine sample. Before your appointment, please ensure that you can provide a sample, we suggest not urinating for at least two hours.
What happens to my sample?
Your sample will be tested at our certified laboratory. It takes from five days for the results to be available after the laboratory receives your sample.
How will I receive my test results?
Your test results will be uploaded to your secure online Patient Area once they are ready. Additionally, we will notify you via your preferred method of communication, which can be a telephone call, email, or SMS.
What if I test positive?
If your test results indicate a positive result for Mycoplasma, your Better2Know doctor will assist you in accessing appropriate medication to treat the infection. Furthermore, if you require support or guidance regarding your test results, you can speak with one of Better2Know's Sexual Health Advisors.
