The Bowel Cancer Risk (qFIT) Test detects small amounts of blood in the stool (faeces), known as faecal occult blood. The test is a non-invasive, highly accurate way to recognise potential signs of bowel cancer. The qFIT Test is the only test recommended in the UK by NICE for first-line screening for bowel cancer.
The Bowel Cancer Risk (qFIT) Test is an easy and accurate way to understand if you have early signs of bowel cancer, any abnormal result will be presented in your results report and will require further investigation. The test can be added to any of our full body health check packages.
For any customer with a family history of bowel cancer especially in a parent or sibling, we advise you to interpret normal and abnormal results with caution and seek the advice and recommendations of a GP as you may require additional testing.
