About this test

The Complete Sexual Performance Blood Test measures 20 biomarkers: total testosterone, cholesterol and lipids, blood sugar control (HbA1c), thyroid hormones (TSH and free T4), kidney function (creatinine, eGFR, urea), liver function (ALT, ALP, GGT), iron and vitamin status (ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D, folate) and albumin. Testosterone, cholesterol and HbA1c are the markers most commonly used to look at factors linked to erectile function and libido, since they relate to hormone levels and blood flow. A blood test like this does not diagnose erectile dysfunction; if you are experiencing symptoms, it's worth also speaking to a GP.

It is the same 20-marker panel as four other Numan tests we reviewed, including the Complete Blood Test, Complete Cardiovascular Blood Test, Complete Hormone Blood Test and Complete Metabolic Health Blood Test, all priced at £118. What changes here is how the results are framed and explained, not the underlying markers.

Among the men's health tests we track that are similarly sized, its 20 markers place it near the top for clinical depth, though its price sits somewhat above the median for that group. clarity and documentation and results and follow-up score the same as Numan's other tests, reflecting the detailed listing and standard doctor review.

Who is it for?

This suits you if you want your results explained specifically in relation to sexual health and are comfortable paying for that framing on top of a general 20-marker panel. It is not worth buying alongside another Numan Complete test, since the underlying results would be identical.

If you want a narrower, cheaper option focused more tightly on the same area, Numan's own Erectile Dysfunction Blood Test covers 12 markers, including free and total testosterone, for £78, £40 less than this one.

How it works

You collect the sample at home with a finger-prick kit, or a Tasso+ upper-arm device for an extra £10. The sample is processed at Numan's UKAS ISO 15189 accredited partner labs, with results typically ready in 3 to 5 days and checked by a doctor before you see them.

  • Numan does not say what the final results report looks like.
